Der Emerald Lake im Yoho Nationalpark, British Columbia (Kanada) erhielt seinen Namen wegen der smaragdgrünen Farbe seines Wassers.

Wenn man davor steht (oder darüber paddelt) und den See umrundet, kann man verstehen, warum er so heißt. Ein Traum in türkis.
