muffin, who can make a living out of 100 to 200 euros a month (in germany)? Wink
rule of thumb before the update was 1000 photos online gets you 100 euros per month. now this should increase dramatically. at least, in my case it works this way. even though most of my pictures are far from being of commercial value.

DAMN, just did a little number crunching... even if I had 1000 images online, I wouldn't get a check every month... Sad

Looks like, I will give it a try for a wile. But not sure how long it will take to get a good size portfolio together with single uploads and large amount of rejections.

A lot of the work on here is truly exceptional but has about as much commercial value as a bag of ice in Antartica. Fine art photography does not sell as stock and I think that's going to be the challenge for me here. I can't get my head around the review process and if I do, I think I need to be on drugs Smile

Well, so far I am not doing well. Only one accepted out of about twenty or more.

Editorial, thanks for your submissions. The thing you have to understand about Photocase is that our rejections or confirmations are never based on what could sell. We, as editors decide purly on our own taste. Thats sounds crazy, I know, but this is the main purpose of the site. So we can assure, that you will find a special collection of outstanding photos, that bring people together who share the same feeling of photography and give people who are looking for photos an alternative source. The selling thing is basicly a byproduct, but we know that our photos sell.
