La Chamandu 2008

La Chamandu

Photocase Day has a new name. We have imported from the northernmost reaches of Canada the tradition of La Chamandu for our first and hopefully annual meeting. While there is no literal translation, it essentially means "a gathering of cool people with similar taste and ideas for the purpose of hanging out and talking and learning some stuff they didn't know before and to also drink some drinks, eat some food and basically just kick back and relax, pamplemousse."

La Chamandu will take place in Berlin on August 30th 2008. Advance registration is required, and you can can sign up on this page. Although this is La Chamandu there will be no flying canoe to collect attendees, so you'll have to get here by Deutsche Bahn or catch a ride with another kind Photocase soul. If anyone can offer places to sleep or a ride to Berlin, please let us know so we can include you and your service on the list.

  • You will all talk with us.
  • We're also going to have a few prints of yours on hand, as well as some t-shirts to try on. And there's going to be a little contest.
